A design contribution to the people of China.

A freelance opportunity in Beijing with the design department at Tsinghua University led me to this.  The concept imagery shown aligns itself with the birds' nest in Beijing's Olympic Area.  The Olympic forest, aside from its natural features, will accommodate a retail/subway station.  The image shows the retail and subway station are covered under the thickness of concrete and earth and only exposing a huge promenade wherein thousands of people can gather to decide where in the park they would like to walk to.  It also incorporates an outdoor stage for concerts with a view of a man-made lake that has a water feature resembling that of a Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
